This area of greenery, lying between Mosnigo, Moriago and the surrounding municipalities, is part of the “Natura 2000” network of nature protection areas set up by the European Union, now designated as a Site of Community Importance (SCI).

This extensive area contains important natural habitats, including closed fields dating from medieval times, and features cycle paths and pedestrian routes so visitors can explore it.

It is situated between Mosnigo, Moriago and neighbouring municipalities.
